Artist's Comments

My rather involved way of drawing eyes. I used (to sum up a few things) Sakura micron pen, Prismacolor Spring Green, Apple Green, Olive Green, Dark Green, and Colorless blender.

I do hope this helps. Note me or leave a comment if you need additional help :)

Very helpful indeed, I think I could even apply the methods using Photoshop as well. Very awesome! ^^

Oooh, neat. I always avoided using more than two colors with prismacolors, but I like how you do the layering here. :) :+fav: ;)

Ah, make the most of what we yet may spend,
Before we too into the Dust descend;
Dust into Dust, and under Dust to lie
Sans Wine, sans Song, sans Singer, and--sans End!

Really! I bet the results would be really cool. Send me a link to your picture if you try it, please. I'd like to see the results!

Thank you! Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. It does get a bit iffy, especially since if you blend too much, the color get's really weird and washed. I hope it works!

Mind if I use the eye? I'll give you credit of course!
:iconkwieskita:
Thanks. :) Yeah... and obnoxious pink and green just don't go together, anyhow. :paranoid:

Go right ahead! If I had a problem, I wouldn't have posted this tutorial!

Watermelon colors! that shade of Pink and Green look good. Makes me wish Summer was here.
:iconkwieskita:
:XD: But.. when they overlay as markers... they turn this icky brown. :(

Oooh. Good point. Well, you are mixing yellow, blue, red, and white together. I imagine they would. Sometimes mixing weird colors works, though, too! I have a Jade Green marker that for the life of it doesn't have a darker shade, but I discovered that Copenhagen Blue and Yellow Ochre make just the right color for it. Sometimes experimenting can be a good thing :)
