I've been tempted to go red before but I don't feel like I'd look good in it. Sorta like the lost Weasley brother / redheaded stepchild.
Orihime is a little too short for you. Of course, I always say you should cosplay what you want rather than think too much about your regular appearance, but since it came up, eh?
If you want to, go for it. Worse that will happen is you won't like it, and you'll have to dye your hair again. Given that can be pricey.
Nah, I wouldn't cosplay Orihime. Our body types are all wrong. The next two ideas I have are, well, expensive. Dream from Sandman by Neil Gaiman and Samus from Metroid.
Neither of which I can afford right now. At least if I was dream, I'd end up with some killer black out contacts.
Hmmm. I dunno, I might someday. But I'm rather fond of the golden color I get when I bleach my hair just the right amount. It's a lot nicer than the dishwater brown I was born with.
Haha, you'd make a great Samus!! Given, half of what makes you good for the part (build, height, hair) would be obscured if you did a body armor version, but still. Are you thinking of body armor, or would you attempt to sunder some fanboys with the zero suit?
If you do zero suit, you totally need a Pikachu plushie. I'm tempted to suggest making the plushie imitate one of Kiwi's prints (yeah...that one), but... eh... that might be going a little overboard.
Dream...so, crossplay, eh? The artwork from Niel Gaiman's comics (that I can find on Google) doesn't show much. I'm not sure why he'd be expensive, though I can see why he'd be difficult, so perhaps the two are synonymous. I take it there are color prints somewhere? I only saw black/white.
If I did Samus, I would want to go all freaking out. That would mean both the armor and the zero suit. I believe Kiwi owns a Pikachu plushie, so maybe that picture would have to happen... It'd be funny at the very least.
Cosplay is something I'm going to have to postpone until I get a job. If I do make one next, it'd probably be dream. Samus would be extraordinarily expensive.
We'll see what happens. Job and income are the first part to this.
Samus would indeed be nuts. But if you ever do it I hope to see it. Aside from the fact that your hair is now red, you'd be great for that character (though admittedly, you usually wear wigs anyway, even when blond).

For Samus, I would buy a blond wig. I found a really thorough tutorial on doing high ponytails. The idea scares me since wig fiber is nuts, but It would look much better in the end.

I have to admit contacts with solid-black irises are pretty kickass. I guess I have the "luxury" of now having a problem that is pretty much impossible to correct with contacts. It's the perfect excuse for having a Link with glasses. Blah.

Another blond wig, eh? I'm not sure what's so extreme about her high ponytail, but I'm sure you'll come up with something cool if you do it. Would you hold off on zero suit until you could do the whole shebang along with it? Also, haha, I know it'd be dang near impossible, but it'd be pretty awesome if the armor could be shed, ala Smash Bros Brawl. And then you could throw your shoulder plates at Pikachu. Wooooo, K.O.
